Refund & Cancellation Policy

Qido Studio provides digital services including design, branding, web development, and digital marketing. Due to the nature of digital services, the Consumer Protection Act's cooling-off period does not apply. Once work has commenced, services are generally non-refundable as detailed below.

This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which clients can cancel projects or request refunds for services provided by Qido Studio. Please read this policy carefully.

1. Nature of Digital Services

Qido Studio provides digital and creative services including:

  • Logo design and branding services
  • Graphic design and illustration
  • Web development and website design
  • Digital marketing services
  • Trademark filing assistance
  • Content creation and copywriting

These are intangible digital services and do not fall under the Consumer Protection Act's cooling-off period. Once work has begun on your project, the service cannot be reversed or returned.

2. Refund Policy

No refunds are provided once work has commenced on your project. However, the following exceptions apply:

Before Work Commences:

If you cancel before we begin work on your project, and no consultation or planning has occurred, you may be eligible for a full refund minus a 10% administrative fee (minimum ₹500).

After Work Commences:

Once any work has begun (consultations, design sketches, concepts, etc.), payments are non-refundable. You may be charged for the work completed.

Quality Issues:

If deliverables fail to meet the agreed specifications, we will revise the work at no additional cost. Disputes regarding quality will be resolved through discussion and additional revisions.

3. Cancellation Policy

Clients may request cancellation of their project by providing written notice via email or in writing.

Cancellation Before Project Start:

Full refund minus 10% administrative fee (if deposit was paid).

Cancellation During Active Work:

The client is liable to pay for all work completed up to the cancellation date. Any advance payment will be adjusted against the amount due for completed work.

Cancellation After Completion:

No refunds are provided. Final deliverables will only be released after full payment is received.

4. Payment Terms

  • 50% advance payment is typically required to start the project.
  • Balance payment is due upon completion or before delivery of final files.
  • Final deliverables are withheld until full payment is received.
  • Payments are non-refundable once work has commenced.

5. Delayed Payments

If payment is not received within agreed timelines:

  • A reminder will be sent after 7 days of the due date.
  • Project work may be suspended if payment is overdue by 14 days.
  • Final deliverables will not be released until full payment is received.
  • Additional fees may apply for late payments as per agreement.

6. Revisions and Additional Work

Included Revisions: The agreed number of revisions are included in the project cost.

Additional Revisions: Any revisions beyond the agreed scope will incur additional charges at our standard revision rate.

Note: Refunds cannot be claimed for revision requests that go beyond the originally agreed project scope.

7. Intellectual Property on Cancellation

Upon Project Cancellation:

  • All work in progress remains the property of Qido Studio.
  • Completed work will be handed over only upon full payment.
  • Preliminary concepts and sketches may not be transferred unless specifically agreed in writing.
  • Qido Studio retains the right to use concepts for portfolio purposes (unless confidentiality agreement exists).

8. Exceptions to This Policy

Refunds may be considered in the following cases:

  • Qido Studio fails to deliver agreed services.
  • Services are not delivered within the agreed timeline without prior notice or agreement.
  • Payment was made due to fraud or unauthorized charges.
  • Service is cancelled by Qido Studio (full refund will be issued).

9. Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes regarding refunds or cancellations:

  • Clients should contact us within 30 days of the disputed transaction.
  • We will review the claim and provide a response within 7 business days.
  • Disputes may be escalated to mediation or arbitration if needed.
